With your help our 40th year in 2017 was one of our biggest yet! As we've grown in the last year we've seen attack after attack on our communities from all over the country. Yesterday we learned of plans to make it even harder for transgender and gender nonconforming communities to access healthcare. This news is devastating for our communities across the country. But here at Ingersoll we're not going backwards - we're going to continue to fight for expanded access to reliable and affordable culturally competent gender affirming healthcare. In fact, today we're taking a big step in our work to expand access to gender affirming healthcare for our communities. I'm excited to share that Ingersoll is hiring a full-time Healthcare Access Coordinator. Now is the time for us to double down on our efforts and we couldn't be more excited to be growing our team. You can find the job description and all the details on how to apply at the link above.
In addition to looking for a our Healthcare Access Coordinator and our new Economic Justice Coordinator we're looking for a part-time Operations and Programs Assistant. Think you have what it takes to help our growing team? Take a look at the job description and find out how to apply here.
Our team is growing because our communities need our support more than ever before. We're busy building new programs and expanding resources for transgender and gender nonconforming communities here in King County and across the state.
We're excited to share those resources and new programs with you at our open house to celebrate Trans Day of Visibility on March 31st, 2018. More details to come but in the meantime please be sure to save the date!
