Accessibility
Ingersoll Gender Center is committed to supporting all our community members and facilitating spaces that welcome our collective knowledge and experiences. At its best, trans inclusion means our spaces are accessible to community members with diverse intersectional identities. Please feel free to send staff any questions about access or requests for accommodations. We will do our best to address these.
Our office space is located at 911 E Pike #221 Seattle, WA 98122.
Parking
If you're driving to our office, we highly recommend giving yourself extra time to park. There are free hourly spaces across the street at the QFC parking garage for QFC customers and street parking available.
The Seattle Department of Transportation’s Parking Map can show you how much paid vs. unrestricted street parking is available.
Entrance
To enter our building you'll need to use the call box outside to call up to unit #221. If you ever have trouble with the call box please don't hesitate to call our office at (206) 849 - 7859.

Doors and Corridors
All doors in the building open manually. All doors and corridors are at least 32 inches wide and ADA compliant.
Fragrance
Ingersoll Gender Center is typically a low-scent office. We do not currently have a fragrance-free policy nor does the building we are housed in. If this poses a barrier to your participation with us, please contact info@ingersollgendercenter.org and we will discuss options. Community accessibility is important to us.
Interpretation
Please contact info@ingersollgendercenter.org if we can provide interpretation that would allow for greater accessibility. We ask that requests come at least a week before the event or meeting at hand.
Restrooms
There are restrooms on the second and third floors of our building. The restrooms on our floor, the second floor, are ADA compliant. Currently, the restrooms have gendered signage, but please feel free to use whichever restroom you want. Neither restroom has urinals, and both have two secure stalls each. Please reach out to request staff support if this does not feel like a safe option.
The “women’s restroom” has a diaper-changing station. The left hand stall has one grab bar on the right side of the toilet; the right hand stall has no grab bars. In the “men’s restroom,” the right hand stall has a grab bar on the left side of the toilet; the left hand stall has no grab bars.
Seating
Ingersoll Gender Center has a variety of chairs in our office. All have seat padding; most have back padding.
