Join us and Tobi Hill-Meyer of Gender Justice League, Mattie Mooney of Ingersoll Gender Center, Danny Waxwing, Equal Justice Works Fellow at Disability Rights Washington’s Trans in Prison Project, and Ari Robbins, an ACLU client who was refused medically necessary surgery from Swedish Health Services to talabout healthcare access for trans communities.
Please join us for another 5th Wednesday Workshop on July 31st, 7-9pm at Seattle Counseling Services! Cecilie, one of our SOFFA facilitators, will be demoing how to properly sew on a button, hand-sew strong seams, and make minor adjustments. Come learn about different types of fabrics and discuss their uses and cleaning requirements - second-hand clothing is often missing the care instructions! We hope each participant will be provided with their own small sewing kit, so please RSVP here: http://bit.ly/FWWSewd. We encourage you to bring an item you want to learn how to repair (such as a hole-y sweater)!
Join us for our Trans People of Color Brunch ✨✨ We'd love to see you there.
Brunch is on us, but space is limited!
